Welcome to Rhinebeck High School

RHS Summer Reading

At Rhinebeck High School we are proud to offer a range of opportunities to our students.

We offer students Advanced Placement courses, classes in partnership with Dutchess Community College, and Project Lead the Way courses; we offer instrumental and vocal music, we offer a four year fine arts sequence, we have a cutting edge physical education curriculum, after school, we support an articulated interscholastic athletic program for young men and women at the modified, junior varsity, and varsity levels, and our district sponsors a range of co-curricular clubs. Part of our mission is to provide an excellent learning environment, prepare students to meet the challenges and opportunities of the future, and nurture every student’s generosity of spirit, passion for learning, and success.

We are also a small learning community. Our faculty and staff work hard to personalize the learning environment— our students are known as individuals, and as individual learners. Our faculty get to know their students in and outside the classroom, and it is another priority that every student is supported. As a result, we have excellent graduation rates and excellent college attendance rates. Within this small school environment, students feel safe to take intellectual risks and to push themselves.
